About RoCo's Murder Mysteries
Our murder mystery productions are typically staged in the summer over two evenings. In recent years, we have also staged Saturday matinee performances too.
Times
The evening performances start at 7:30pm, with doors usually opening at around 7pm. The matinee performances start at 2:30pm, with doors opening at around 2pm.
Seating
Unlike our dramatic productions where the audience are sat in traditional rows, for the murder mysteries the audience are seated at tables, café style.
Tickets
Tickets for our productions are priced £10 (unless advertised otherwise). Any prices for concessions will be advertised per production.
Funds raised from ticket sales enable us to provide a light supper, which is served during the interval of our murder mysteries. As such, tickets cannot be reserved for collection on the door unless paid for in advance.
Tickets will be able to be purchased online via the website. You will be asked to complete your order via bank transfer, and once payment is confirmed you will receive an e-ticket that you can either display on your phone or print off and bring with you.
Tickets can also be purchased with cash/card at St. Andrew's following the Sunday services once the box office has opened.
The box office opening date and information for purchasing your tickets will be included on publicity materials, here on the RoCo website and via our mailing list and social media.
Interval Refreshments
A light supper is served during the interval, between the murder and the denouement.
Vegetarian and Vegan friendly options are available, and we are also able to supply gluten free option too - we ask audience members to state their preference/requirements when booking their tickets.
BYOB
Audiences are asked to bring their own wine, beer and soft drinks (though no spirits are permitted, thank you). We also ask audiences to bring their own glasses/cups and to take away and recycle their bottles, etc, for the ease of clean-up at the end of each evening.
Questionnaire's And Prizes
During the interval, the audience are tasked with a bit of sleuthing to do as questionnaire's are handed out to be filled in by each table/team.
At the end of the evening, the answers will be read out and the winning team announced and presented with their prize! The winner is the table/team with the highest overall score that also guesses correctly who the murderer was in the play.
Raffle & Shop
We hold a raffle during the interval with an array of prizes up for grabs. Tickets can be purchased on the night from the merch shop with both cash/card options available. A selection of RoCo merch will also be available to purchase too.
Unlike our drama productions there is no interval bar at our murder mysteries, as the audience are asked to bring their own drinks.
