Bringing Early Modern Text To Life
A practical, performance-based workshop to be led by Alice Rayner, exploring how original early modern language (think Shakespeare) can come alive through modern settings, clear storytelling and bold acting choices!
Rather than translating the text, we’ll experiment with adapting its context and relationships, to prove we can unlock an unfamiliar language and still make enjoyable, familiar theatre for a modern audience.
This session is free to attend, for both RoCo members and newcomers alike (aged 18+).
