The Festival
Doors open at noon each day, and everyone is invited into the St Andrew's Sanctuary to enjoy over 35 Christmas trees, sponsored and decorated by local groups and businesses. RoCo and Junior RoCo will be taking part, with our tree being organised by Mary Shalvey & Tira Teague!
A mouth watering selection of drinks, soups and cakes will be served, to the accompaniment of informal live music for your entertainment.
On the Saturday will be a Family Fun Day, with the theme of 'Stars', and you are invited to come dressed (or decorated) as sparkly and twinkly as you can! Alongside ever-popular crafts, games, activities and food, the day will include a short Messy Church nativity section. There are also books that children can take home to read more about Christmas. Saturday will end with a film, pizza, popcorn and a raffle draw - a day not to be missed!
So do come and enjoy the beautiful trees, the wonderful music and the amazing food, and celebrate Christmas 2024 with St Andrew's Starry Charity Christmas Tree Festival!
2024 Christmas Appeal Charities
The fun is all about fundraising - the trees are bought from Crag House Farm, Caring For life, a wonderful local charity, and all profits from the festival are shared between Kidz Club Leeds, the Sylvia Wright Foundation and Commitment for Life, St Andrew's Christmas Appeal Charities for 2024.
