Friends of RoCo
RoCo's Revamped Annual Membership
Introducing RoCo's revamped annual membership, titled Friends of RoCo!
The Friends of RoCo membership lasts from January 1st to December 31st of each year.
Who Can Join the Membership?
Anyone can become a Friends of RoCo member, whether you wish to be directly involved with RoCo productions or just support us.
You do not have to be a Friends of RoCo member to join our mailing list or to come to our shows, events and activities throughout the year - although there will be a few activities exclusive to the membership.
You will have to join the membership however, if you want to take part in any of our productions, whether as a member of the cast or crew. You don't have to join up to attend an audition (as newcomers are always welcome!), but if you do and are offered a role in one of our productions (and subsequently accept) - you'll then be able to join up if you haven't already done so.
Membership Fee - £5
You can join the Friends of RoCo membership at anytime from January 1st of each year for just £5. Once paid, your membership will last until the end of the calendar year - December 31st.
Joining & Renewals
You can join up or renew an existing membership at any time during the year, either in person at any RoCo event/activity you attend, or online via the contact form at the bottom of this page.
Members will automatically be added to the RoCo mailing list. At the beginning of each year, a reminder that it is time to renew will be posted out. You can renew at anytime, although your membership will not be active until you do so.
Membership Perks
Membership Card - every Friends of RoCo member will receive a special, premium quality membership card (UK only). It takes the form of a loyalty card, and could last you up to 5yrs. Each year you renew your membership, you can get it stamped by one of the RoCo leaders.
Early Access to Tickets - Friends of RoCo members will be able to order tickets to RoCo productions x3 days before they go on general sale. Cast & Crew members will be able to reserve tickets up to x2 weeks before they go on general sale, for the productions they are involved with.
Member Exclusive Activities - RoCo look to hold 'outside of production' activities that will be open to everybody to attend, whether they be a Friends of RoCo member or not. Members will also be invited to attend activities and workshops, that will be exclusive to the Friends of RoCo membership.
WhatsApp Community - as a Friends of RoCo member, you will also be invited to join the private members group chat in our WhatsApp Community, where you will receive info on membership exclusive updates and activities.
Further Q&A's on the Membership
Here is some further info that you will hopefully find helpful. If there is anything else that you would like to ask, just get in touch.
If I join the membership in December, would I still have to renew it a month later in January?
Yes - you can join the Friends of RoCo membership at anytime during the year, but all memberships end on December 31st, and would have to be renewed from January of the next calendar year to remain active.

Am I guaranteed a role in RoCo's productions if I have joined the membership?
No - we cannot guarantee that everybody who auditions will be offered a role. Casting decisions are dependant on the plays being considered and whether we are able to successfully cast them, which is often dependant on the attendance of auditions. Final casting decisions are made by the assigned 'Casting Committee' per-audition (which is made up of the production's Director and volunteers from the RoCo Committee). We do try our best to give everybody an opportunity where possible. You don't have to join up to attend an audition (as newcomers are always welcome!), but if you do and are offered a role in one of our productions (and subsequently accept) - you'll then be able to join up if you haven't already done so.

How do I find out when RoCo is holding events and activities throughout the year?
We post announcements and updates on all our events and activities through the mailing list, here on the website, and also via our social media accounts. If you become a Friends of RoCo member, you will automatically be added to the mailing list. If you haven't already done so, make sure to follow our social accounts.

Will the membership fee always be £5?
The membership fee is decided upon each year at RoCo's Annual General Meeting (AGM), where any changes to the price will be voted upon by the membership. RoCo members are always encouraged to attend the AGM.

What is the Membership Ref. Code for?
Each Friends of RoCo member has a unique membership reference code (displayed on your membership card). This can be used to help identify your membership, for early access to tickets, and as your payment reference if you choose to pay for or renew your membership via bank transfer.

Can I order an additional membership, such as for a friend, partner or family member?
Yes you can, as long as you have their permission first. If you wish to order more than one Friends of RoCo membership, (for yourself and for someone else, such as a friend, partner or family member), make sure to include their full name and email address in the 'Message' section of the contact form below. You will then be able to either collect the cards at the next event/activity you attend, or have them posted to you. If you request an additional membership in person at a RoCo event/activity, again, make sure to provide their full name and email address. You will then be given their membership card to pass on to them.
