Documenting RoCo's History
RoCo has been going for a very long time. Since our formation in 1963 a great many people have raised the flats, hoisted the curtain rigging, donned their costumes and trodden the boards across countless numbers of shows!
Members of RoCo are looking to create a RoCo Archive, sourcing as many materials as possible from across the society’s more than 60 year history... and we need your help!
What We Are Looking For
Do you or anyone you know have any RoCo memorabilia? Anything at all, such as programmes, photos, reviews, articles, etc. We are interested in anything from 1963 up to 2016, as we have plenty of items from the past 10yrs.
Perhaps you or someone you know were very active with RoCo and our productions, and have a box of old photos and programmes somewhere in the attic. Or maybe you have articles on past RoCo members and shows packed up in a scrapbook.
If you do have anything, RoCo would very much like to borrow them for a spell, in order to scan/transcribe and catalogue them. If you have digital items, perhaps you could share them with us. We would return any physical items to you once we’re done - if you would prefer for RoCo to keep them, that can be arranged too.
