The White Rosettes presents: 'Starlight Singing'
An evening of stunning harmonies, melodies and sketches.
Produced and led by the multi-award winning White Rosettes, volunteers from RoCo took part as a supporting act in a special evening of entertainment.
Staged on Wednesday 4 December 2024 in the sanctuary of St. Andrew's Roundhay, the evening showcased 'Starlight Singing' from The White Rosettes, with some 'Starlight Sketches' from RoCo Dramatic Society, and a special spot from the Rooftop Social Club Quartet.
The White Rosettes are a Leeds-based female barbershop chorus. They have been European ladies' barbershop champions 3 times and have won the LABBS Chorus Championship an unprecedented 17 times. Visit their website for more info on the group here
The RoCo team members who took part, were Lloyd Coulson, Emma Holt, James Holt, Andrew Lamb, Michaela Marden, Mary Shalvey and Tira Teague. They performed a selection of sketches from RoCo's Rave Revue, which had concluded just a couple of weeks prior, as well as a few Christmas themed readings.
Below are a selection of photos taken of the team in the few rehearsals they had to prepare.
