About RoCo's AGM
RoCo holds an Annual General Meeting every year, where the RoCo Committee Chair leads a presentation of the year's events, along with a discussion over any and all current & upcoming RoCo business.
Once the business of the evening has concluded, it is followed by a chance to chat over refreshments.
When Is The AGM Held?
The AGM typically starts at 7:30pm and is held at St Andrew's midway through the year in June or July.
The exact date is decided by the RoCo Committee at a preceding meeting and will be publicised in advance.
Who Can Attend?
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend, including newcomers.
Attendee's are asked to RSVP in advance so that we have an idea on numbers.
Voting
Only those who are paid-up for the year on the Friends of RoCo annual membership can vote on any and all matters arising at the AGM, including the election of the RoCo Committee.
You will be able to join the membership at the AGM, but not until after the business of the evening has concluded - so you wouldn't be eligible to vote. It is therefore advised that you sort your membership in advance of the AGM.
More info on the Friends Of RoCo membership can be found here
The Committee & Nominations
The RoCo Committee officers and members are nominated/elected/re-elected for the year at the AGM's.
Only those who are paid-up for the year on the Friends of RoCo annual membership are able to nominate others or themselves be nominated onto the RoCo Committee.
If you are interested in being elected onto the Committee, a nomination form can be requested and must be filled in and submitted ahead of the AGM.
Committee nominations/elections/re-elections must be proposed by someone other than the nominee themself, who is also a paid-up Friends Of RoCo member.
