The Body In The Vestry
A Sad Canals Mystery
RoCo's upcoming amateur dramatics production will be our 2024 murder mystery! Titled The Body In The Vestry, the play is written and directed by Alice Rayner & Lloyd Coulson, and is a follow-up to last years' murder mystery, Sad Canals, which proved highly popular with audiences!
The cast is made up of a number of familiar faces, newcomers and also members of Junior RoCo too!
The no-nonsense Sgt. Crossley and her determined partner, Constable Greenwood, are back dispensing law & order in their patch of the Calder Valley. This time they are tasked with investigating a grisly murder at their local church.

About Our Murder Mysteries
For the murder mysteries the audience are seated at tables, café style, and a light supper is served during the interval - between the murder and the denouement. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly options are available - we ask audience members to state their preference when booking their tickets so that we have an idea on numbers.
Each table represents a different team. During the interval, audiences are tasked with a bit of sleuthing to do, as questionnaire's are handed out to be filled in by each table/team.
At the end of the evening, the answers will be read out and the winning team announced and presented with their prize! The winner is the table/team with the highest overall score that also guesses correctly who the murderer was in the play.
